Power Acoustics, Inc. Announces New Version of SPM9613 for 2011

Power Acoustics, Inc. announces Version 3 of SPM9613 will be released in 2011. The new version will have a simpler graphical interface, graphical data input and scaling, allow over 1000 noise sources and barriers and provide integrated contour plotting capabilities superimposed over images. The release date has not yet been set but is targeted for early second quarter. Purchasers of Version 2 will be offered a substantial discount toward an upgrade. Discounts will be pro-rated based on Version 2 purchase date.

Principal acoustical consultant presents invited technical paper at Inter-noise 2009

Power Acoustics principal presented an invited paper at the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE) Inter-noise conference in Ottawa, Canada. The paper, "Challenges of unanticipated power plant startup noise" addresses "unexpected noise problems" from new power plant facilities and how they were resolved.
